An editorial marketplace theme for LaraClassifier: full-bleed hero, morphing search pill, 4:5 photo cards and a sticky seller panel. Built on Bootstrap 5.3 with a token-driven design system and first-class dark mode.
Theme Overview
Aurora is a second front-end theme for LaraClassifier with an editorial voice: near-neutral surfaces let listing photography carry the color, one saturated brand hue marks everything interactive, and a single warm highlight is reserved for “featured”.
Feature Highlights
- 10 homepage sections
- Full-bleed homepage hero
- Docking navbar search pill
- First-class dark mode
- Fully responsive
- RTL support
- Multi-language ready
- 5 gallery slider styles
- 5 Google Font families
- Custom CSS & JS injection
Color Palette
| Color | Value |
|---|---|
| Primary | #0B6B53 |
| Secondary | #5C6660 |
| Accent | #E5A50A |
| Urgent | #B23A5B |
| Text / Slab | #141A17 |
| Canvas | #F4F2EE |
The primary is an evergreen used for links, buttons, focus rings and price chips; the accent is a saffron reserved for featured badges and ratings; plum marks urgent listings; and the page sits on a warm linen canvas.
Typography
- Fraunces: Headings & display copy (variable serif)
- Inter: UI & body text: 16px base
Three more families: Instrument Serif, Manrope and Lexend: are pre-loaded and selectable from the theme's font pickers, so any admin choice renders exactly as previewed with no system-font fallback.
Who is this theme for? Aurora suits marketplaces where photography sells: real estate, vehicles, fashion, furniture, art. Its receding interface, generous whitespace and large serif headlines give a classifieds site the feel of an editorial catalogue while keeping every LaraClassifier feature intact.
Getting Started
Activate Aurora and make it your site's front-end theme in minutes.
-
Log in to your Admin Panel
Navigate to your site's admin area (typically
/admin) and sign in with your administrator credentials. -
Go to Themes
Click Themes in the admin sidebar (
/admin/themes). You will see a card for every theme installed underextensions/themes/. -
Activate “Aurora”
Find the Aurora card and click Activate. Aurora is a paid theme: if your build requires license validation, you will be asked for your Envato purchase code once; it is remembered afterwards.
-
Customize to your liking
Open Themes → Aurora → Settings (
/admin/themes/aurora/settings) to change colors, fonts, header and footer options, the listing gallery style, and more. Changes apply instantly: no rebuild needed. -
Arrange your homepage
Go to Homepage Sections (
/admin/page-sections) to enable, reorder and configure the homepage sections. Aurora ships editorial defaults for each one; anything you save there overrides them, per theme.
Purchase Code (License Key)
The Aurora theme is licensed separately from the main application and from every other theme or add-on, so it has its own purchase code (license key). You are asked for it the first time you activate the theme in Admin panel → Themes.
Our products are sold on three platforms, and the way you receive a purchase code depends on where you bought the product.
| Platform / Marketplace | How you get the purchase code | Where to find it again |
|---|---|---|
| bedigit.com Store In-site purchase (Shop) |
Generated automatically when the order is paid, then sent by email, either in its own license email, or inside the order confirmation email. | My Account → My Licenses on bedigit.com |
| Gumroad | Created as soon as Gumroad notifies us of the sale, then sent in a separate email, in addition to the Gumroad receipt. | The license email, your Gumroad Library, and My Account → My Licenses on bedigit.com |
| Envato Market CodeCanyon |
Issued by Envato, not by us, and never sent by email: you download it yourself from your Envato account. | Envato account → Downloads → License certificate & purchase code |
Check your spam folder. For bedigit.com Store and Gumroad purchases the purchase code is delivered by email, and automated license emails are very often filtered. If the message is not in your inbox, look in your spam / junk folder before contacting support, and add our sender address to your contacts or allow list.
1. bedigit.com Store (in-site purchase)
As soon as your order is marked Paid, a license key is generated automatically for every licensed item in the order (one key per purchased unit) and emailed to the address used on the order, either in a dedicated license email or inside the order confirmation email. The key also stays available under My Account → My Licenses, where you can reveal it, copy it, see the domains it is activated on, and deactivate a domain to free an activation slot. The matching invoice is under My Account → My Orders.
2. Gumroad
A Gumroad purchase produces two separate emails: the Gumroad receipt (sent by Gumroad, giving access to the files) and a license key email (sent by bedigit.com) that contains your purchase code. The second one is generated as soon as Gumroad notifies us of the sale, so it normally arrives within seconds of the payment. When the product uses Gumroad’s own license-key feature, the same key is also shown in the Gumroad receipt and under Library → your purchase on gumroad.com. Use the same email address on bedigit.com as on Gumroad and your keys are linked to your account automatically, under My Account → My Licenses; you can also add a Gumroad key manually from My Account → My Gumroad Licenses.
3. Envato Market (CodeCanyon)
Envato issues and delivers the purchase code itself: we never email it, so there is nothing to look for in your spam folder. Log in to your Envato / CodeCanyon account, open Downloads, find the item, and choose License certificate & purchase code from the Download dropdown; the code is written in that certificate. It looks like 12345678-90ab-cdef-1234-567890abcdef and never changes, even when you renew item support. See the official article: Where Is My Purchase Code?
Lost your purchase code? Search your mailbox (spam folder included) for “license” or “purchase code”, then check My Account → My Licenses on bedigit.com for Store and Gumroad purchases, or Downloads → License certificate on Envato. If it is still missing, open a ticket on our Help Center with your order number (Store), Gumroad sale ID or buyer email (Gumroad), or Envato username and item name (Envato).
Customization
Tailor every aspect of the theme from the admin panel: no coding required.
Colors
Change the primary, secondary, accent and text colors with color pickers, or switch on a pre-defined skin. The whole site repaints through CSS variables: buttons, links, focus rings, chips and price tags in one move.
Typography
Pick the heading font (Fraunces, Instrument Serif, Inter, Manrope or Lexend), the body font (Inter, Manrope or Lexend) and the base font size. Every offered family is pre-loaded, so what you pick is what renders.
Layout
Wide layout with a 1250px container (1320px for wide bands), plus a hero alignment switch: the classic centered hero, or a fully left-aligned page.
Header
The transparent-over-the-hero navbar is fully configurable: separate settings for its default and scrolled states, a third set for non-homepage pages, logo sizing, borders, shadows, and the docked navbar search.
Footer
A dark, high-spacing footer by default. Configure the background color or image, title, text and link colors, inner divider color, spacing, and the back-to-top button.
Advanced
Choose among 5 gallery slider styles for the listing page, set the authentication pages' background image, and inject custom CSS and JavaScript directly from the admin panel.
Tip: All options live in Themes → Aurora → Settings. Saved values are stored in the database (per theme) and merged over the theme's shipped defaults, so replacing the theme's files never loses your customization. A Reset action restores the shipped defaults at any time.
Homepage Sections
The homepage is assembled from 10 section types that you can enable, reorder and configure from Homepage Sections in the admin panel. Aurora provides its own template and editorial styling for every one of them.
Hero
- Search Form
A full-bleed, 620px-tall hero: large serif headline, subtitle and the search pill over a background photograph, with the transparent navbar riding on top. An optional extended form area adds more search fields.
Browsing
- Categories
- Locations
The Categories section offers four display types: big icon list, normal list, picture list (photo tiles), and normal list with subcategories. The Locations section lists the most active cities and can render an interactive SVG map of your country.
Listings
- Premium Listings
- Latest Listings
Featured and most-recent listings, as a grid or a carousel, using Aurora's 4:5 photo cards. Item counts, ordering, caching and a “view more” button are all configurable per section.
Engagement & Content
- Newsletter
- Stats
- Text Area
The Newsletter block collects subscribers (optionally with name and phone); Stats shows animated counters for listings, locations and users; Text Area is a free-form band for editorial copy, per language.
Advertising
- Top Ad
- Bottom Ad
Two advertising slots wired to the Advertising entries configured in the admin panel.
Aurora's editorial defaults: a uniform, generous vertical rhythm between sections (whitespace, never tinted bands), a taller hero with a deeper scrim so the serif headline stays legible over photos, and crisp, square-ish search-form corners instead of the core pill. These are read-side defaults: anything you save in the section's admin form wins, and section styling is stored per theme, so your Default-theme homepage stays untouched.
Page Templates
Aurora restyles every front-end page of LaraClassifier with its own Blade templates.
| Page | What Aurora provides |
|---|---|
| Homepage | Sectioned page built from the 10 homepage sections above, under the transparent navbar |
| Search results | Category, city, tag and keyword results with grid, list and compact display modes, filter sidebar (bottom sheet on mobile), root-category browser and breadcrumbs |
| Listing details | Photo gallery with 5 slider styles (Swiper horizontal/vertical, bxSlider horizontal/vertical, Bootstrap carousel), custom-field values, a sticky seller panel, security tips and a docked contact bar on phones |
| Post a listing | Multi-step wizard: Details → Photos → Plans → Finish, with custom fields per category and a progress sidebar |
| Edit a listing | The same steps as separate edit screens (details, photos, plans) |
| User account | Overview with stats, my listings, saved search alerts, notifications, preferences, profile, security (password & two-factor), linked accounts, transactions, subscription, account closing |
| Messenger | Full conversation UI: thread list sidebar, message history, new-message modal |
| Seller profile | Public profile page listing a user's active listings |
| Pricing | Promotion plans and subscription plans, plus the checkout flow (plan selection and payment methods) |
| Contact & CMS pages | Contact form and static pages (terms, FAQ, …) created from the admin panel |
| Countries & sitemap | Country switcher page and the HTML sitemap |
| Auth pages | Login, registration and two-factor screens share the theme's Bootstrap build and tokens, over a configurable background image |
Note: Any page Aurora does not override falls back automatically to the application's stock views, so add-ons and future features keep working even before the theme styles them.
Header & Footer
Aurora's signature is its two-state navbar: transparent over the homepage hero, solid once you scroll.
Header on the homepage
| State | Behavior (default settings) |
|---|---|
| Default | 84px tall, transparent over the hero photograph, light (white) labels with a subtle text shadow for legibility, fade-in animation |
| Scrolled (“stuck”) | After 240px of scrolling the bar crossfades to a solid 68px dark bar with a bottom border and shadow; the logo swaps to its light-ink variant automatically |
| Search hand-off | Once the hero's own search pill scrolls out of view, a compact search field fades into the navbar, so there is always exactly one search box on screen |
Header on other pages
Search, listing, account and CMS pages use an independent set of header settings: a solid, light 72px navbar from the first paint (64px once stuck). Pages that have their own search bar (search results, categories, cities) gate the navbar search until it scrolls away; pages without one show it immediately.
Header options
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Style | Transparent (over the hero) or solid |
| Heights | Separate default and scrolled heights, per page family |
| Dark variant | Light or dark bar per state, driving label and logo contrast |
| Animation | Fade-in / crossfade transitions between states |
| Background | Color class, custom color, or image |
| Border & shadow | Bottom border style, width, color; drop shadow per state |
| Link & text colors | Per state, with optional item text shadow over busy photos |
| Logo sizing | Height and width caps with aspect-ratio preservation (38px on the homepage bar, 34px elsewhere by default) |
| Navbar search | Enable/disable the docked keyword search per page family |
Footer options
| Option | Default |
|---|---|
| Dark footer | On: ink background #141A17 |
| High spacing | On: generous editorial padding |
| Title / text / link colors | #FFFFFF / #B7BEB8 / #D8DDD8 (hover #FFFFFF) |
| Inner divider | rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.12) |
| Background image, margins, paddings | Empty: set them if your brand needs them |
| Back to top | On: appears after one viewport of scrolling |
The footer's link columns and behavioral switches (hide links, hide “powered by”, …) are application-level settings, so they survive a theme switch.
Dark Mode
Dark mode is not an afterthought: it is a first-class token swap designed alongside the light theme.
Evergreen, not slate
Aurora replaces Bootstrap's neutral gray dark palette with a deep evergreen, so listing photography keeps the same warm cast in both modes.
Visitor toggle
A mode switcher in the header lets visitors choose light, dark, or follow their system preference. The choice persists across visits.
Admin controls
Set the default mode and whether the toggle is shown at all, from Theme Settings.
The slab: some panels: the price chip, the gallery backdrop, the newsletter block: are deliberately dark in both modes. In dark mode the slab simply goes deeper than the page so it still reads as a distinct panel. This is by design, not a bug.
Configuration
- Default mode: whether first-time visitors start in light or dark mode (default: light)
- Allow mode toggle: show or hide the light/dark switch in the header (default: on)
Updating
How to update this theme to a newer version.
Admin Panel Upload (Recommended)
- Download the latest
.zipfile of this theme. - Go to Admin panel → Themes and click the Upload button.
- Select or drag the
.zipfile into the upload area. - A confirmation prompt shows the current and new version numbers. Confirm to replace the theme files.
Tip: Your theme settings (colors, fonts, header/footer options, custom CSS) and your per-section homepage styling are stored in the database and will not be lost when the theme files are replaced.
Uninstallation
How to stop using this theme without losing anything.
Themes are not switched on and off one by one: exactly one theme is active at a time, so you stop using Aurora by activating another one. Go to Admin panel → Themes and click Activate on the theme you want instead.
- Aurora stays installed: its files remain under
extensions/themes/aurora/and its card stays in the list. - Its settings (colors, fonts, layout, header and footer options, custom CSS) stay stored in the database, and so does the per-section styling you gave it on the home page.
- The purchase code recorded at activation is kept, so activating the theme again does not ask for it.
Activate it again whenever you like: the front-end comes back exactly as you left it.
Removing
How to delete this theme permanently, and what goes with it.
Removing deletes the theme for good. The active theme cannot be removed, so removal is always two steps:
- Activate a different theme (see Uninstallation).
- Click Remove on the Aurora card and confirm the prompt.
That deletes:
- the theme directory
extensions/themes/aurora/; - its published assets under
public/themes/aurora/; - its generated CSS cache under
public/cache/css/aurora/; - its Vite build artifacts: the hashed files under
public/build/and their manifest entries; - its row in the
themestable, which is where its settings live, so the colors, fonts, layout options and custom CSS you configured for it are lost.
This cannot be undone. Export or note down any custom CSS you want to keep before removing the theme: installing it again later starts from the theme's default settings.
Per-section home page styling is stored under the theme's name rather than against the theme row, so it survives the removal: install Aurora again and your section styling is still there, while the theme's own settings start from their defaults.
The removal is refused, before anything is deleted, when the theme is still active or when the web server (PHP) user cannot delete extensions/themes/aurora/. In that last case, give that user write permission on the directory and on its parent, then try again.
Deleting the folder over FTP or SSH is not equivalent: the published assets, the build artifacts and the themes row are all left behind. Use Remove in the admin panel instead.
Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about the Aurora theme.
Can I change the colors and fonts without coding?
Yes. All colors, the five font families, the base font size and the layout options are configurable from Themes → Aurora → Settings in the admin panel. No code editing and no asset rebuild are necessary: changes take effect immediately.
Will switching to Aurora change my homepage configuration?
Your section order and enabled/disabled states are shared, but section styling and content values are stored per theme. Aurora starts from its own editorial defaults; anything you save while Aurora is active is kept separately from what you configured under the Default theme, so you can switch back and forth without losing either.
Does the theme work on mobile devices?
Yes. Aurora is fully responsive: the search filters become a bottom sheet, listing contact actions dock to the bottom of the screen, and the navbar collapses into a drawer.
How do I change the listing photo gallery?
In Theme Settings, the Pictures slider option selects one of five gallery styles: Swiper horizontal (default), Swiper vertical, bxSlider horizontal, bxSlider vertical, or the Bootstrap carousel.
Does Aurora support right-to-left languages?
Yes. The layout mirrors correctly for RTL locales such as Arabic and Hebrew, including the select dropdowns and directional hover effects.
Why are some blocks dark even in light mode?
That is the “slab”: a deliberate design element. The price chip, gallery backdrop and newsletter block stay dark in both modes to anchor the page; in dark mode they go deeper than the background so they remain distinct.
Can I inject custom CSS or JavaScript?
Yes. Theme Settings includes Custom CSS and Custom JS fields whose contents are injected on every front-end page: ideal for small tweaks or third-party snippets without touching theme files.
Does the theme support multiple languages?
Yes. All theme text goes through LaraClassifier's translation system, homepage section titles and bodies are editable per language, and the URL structure adapts to the active locale.
Can I switch to a different theme later?
Yes. You can switch themes at any time from Admin panel → Themes. Your content, listings and settings are preserved: only the visual presentation changes, and each theme keeps its own saved settings.
