Courses (LMS) Add-on for Larapen

Important: this is not a standalone application. It is an add-on for Larapen, which must be purchased and installed first.

Turn your website into an online school. The Courses add-on lets you publish structured courses made of sections and lessons, sell them with the built-in checkout, and follow every learner through to a completion certificate. Video, text, PDF and live-session lessons, drip scheduling, quizzes with automatic grading, and instructor profiles are all included, so you can run paid programmes, cohort-based courses, staff onboarding or free lead-generation courses from a single admin panel.

From Curriculum to Certificate

Each course has a curriculum builder where you arrange sections and lessons, mark free previews, attach downloadable resources and schedule when each lesson unlocks. Learners enrol from the public catalog, pay when the course is not free, then track their own progress lesson by lesson. Once every required lesson and quiz is done, a numbered certificate is generated with a public verification page.

Everything a Course Platform Needs

• Course Catalog: Public course listing with categories, search, instructor pages and detailed course pages showing the curriculum, pricing and what learners will get.
• Lesson Types: Video (embedded or uploaded), rich text, PDF and live sessions, with attachments and free-preview lessons to convert visitors.
• Drip Scheduling: Release lessons a set number of days after enrollment or on fixed dates, so cohorts move through the material together.
• Quizzes & Grading: Multiple-choice, true/false and short-answer questions, automatic grading, attempt limits and a passing score per quiz.
• Certificates: Branded completion certificates with unique numbers, downloadable as PDF and verifiable online by anyone.
• Enrollments & Checkout: Free or paid enrollment through the standard payment gateways, manual enrollment from the admin panel, and per-learner progress reports.
• Instructors: Instructor profiles with bio, photo and course list, shown on the public catalog.

How It Works

1. Build the Course: Create the course, add sections and lessons in the curriculum builder, set the price and the drip schedule, then publish.
2. Learners Enrol: Visitors browse the catalog, preview free lessons and enrol; paid courses go through the checkout.
3. Track & Certify: Follow progress and quiz results from the admin panel; certificates are issued automatically on completion.
