How It Works

1. Get MoMo API Credentials: Register on the MTN MoMo Developer Portal, create an API user, and obtain your subscription key and API credentials. Start with the sandbox environment for testing.
2. Configure Your Country: Select your target MoMo market (Cameroon, Ghana, Uganda, etc.) in the add-on settings. Each country has its own API endpoint, currency, and phone number format. The add-on handles these differences automatically.
3. Collect Mobile Money Payments: Customers enter their MoMo phone number at checkout, receive a payment prompt on their device, and confirm with their PIN. You see the payment status update in real time on your admin dashboard.
