Important: this is not a standalone application. It is an add-on for Larapen, which must be purchased and installed first.

If you sell software, themes, or digital downloads on Gumroad, checking that a customer really bought your product before giving them support or updates quickly becomes a chore. The Gumroad add-on automates it. Customers enter the license key they received from Gumroad, and the add-on verifies it against the Gumroad API: confirming the product, the purchase, refund and dispute status, and subscription state. Verified keys are registered in the License Management add-on, where they unlock support, downloads, and updates.

Every Sale, Recorded Automatically

Gumroad can notify your site of each sale the moment it happens. The add-on receives these notifications (Gumroad Ping), re-fetches each sale from the Gumroad API before trusting it, and records the buyer and the license key. When a product has no Gumroad license key, the add-on can generate one on your site, register it, and email it to the buyer. Keys are tied to the Gumroad sale, so a resent notification never creates a duplicate.
