The Canopy theme feels like living under a tree canopy: cream and paper surfaces, deep forest chapters, bronze details, and a rare touch of electric lime. A monumental serif wordmark spans a full-bleed cover that slowly zooms, a floating pill navigation hovers above the page, and images sit in soft arch, leaf, and pebble shapes. It is made for premium real estate, residences, boutique hotels, resorts, developers, and landscape architects.
Cinematic Storytelling, One Scroll at a Time
Canopy pairs an elegant display serif with a calm sans-serif for reading. As visitors scroll, words come into focus one by one, the hero cover settles into rounded corners, and story panels stay pinned while their chapters unfold. The light appearance is the default and the forest-dark one is a click away; every effect can be switched off in the Motion & Interactions settings and is skipped for visitors who prefer reduced motion.
What Makes Canopy Stand Out
- Monumental Wordmark Hero: A full-bleed cover with a slow Ken Burns zoom and a giant serif wordmark whose letters rise one by one.
- Floating Pill Navigation: A centered glass pill floats over the first section, slims down as the page scrolls, and opens a full-screen forest menu with a curved edge and huge serif links.
- Organic Image Masks: Arch, leaf, and pebble shapes whose curves morph gently as images scroll through view.
- Focus Type: Statements start softly blurred and come into focus word by word as they scroll into view.
- Pinned Story Chapters: Story panels stay in place on large screens while their chapters unfold, and step paths grow a lime line as visitors read.
- Forest Footer: A large serif invitation with the newsletter form or a contact link, menu columns, and a giant wordmark that reveals itself letter by letter at the end of the page.

Yes. The Motion & Interactions card of the theme settings switches each effect on or off: the intro loader, page transitions, the contextual cursor, the type effects, and the parallax and scroll effects. Visitors who ask their device to reduce motion never see these effects, whatever the settings: the content is shown directly, without animation.
Yes. Add-on pages (Blog, Shop, Events, Help Desk, account pages, and more) use the shared layouts restyled with the Canopy palette, type, and shapes, in both the light and the dark appearance. Canopy also belongs to the interactive themes family, which shares the Marquee, Statement, and Collection Wall sections and the same motion settings.
No. The core Larapen app includes only the Default theme. The Canopy theme is a premium theme available for separate purchase. Upload its .zip file from the Themes page of your admin panel and activate it there; no coding required.
